Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 29, 2026
Last updated: August 29, 2026

Solar Rose Energy (“Solar Rose Energy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains who we are, what we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have — including how we use text messages and advertising cookies.

This policy covers solarroseenergy.com, sun.solarroseenergy.com, and related pages, forms, and messages we use to educate homeowners and run Solar FitQuest.

This is not a contract for solar equipment, financing, or installation. Submitting a form or booking a call does not obligate you to buy anything.

Who we are

Solar Rose Energy is an independent energy dealership based in Colorado. We educate homeowners, run a Solar FitQuest discovery process, and — when a home is a good fit — coordinate with licensed, insured installation partners and financing or equipment providers to fulfill a project.

We are not a utility. We are not a one-size-fits-all installer. We work for the homeowner.

Operator: Amber Rose Castellon, Founder
Service area: Primarily Colorado (America/Denver). We may connect homes outside highlighted markets on a case-by-case basis.
Phone: 719-208-1327
Email: [email protected]
Websites: https://solarroseenergy.com (education / trust site) and https://sun.solarroseenergy.com (FitQuest / advertising landing pages)

If you have questions about this policy or your information, start with the email or phone number above.

What we collect

Information you give us on a form, by text, email, phone, or calendar booking, such as:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Street address (and city, state, and ZIP when the address field is split)
  • Optional details you choose to share (electric bill, home/roof notes, energy goals, appointment times, questions)

Information collected automatically when you visit our sites or ads, such as:

  • Device, browser, and general location (IP-based)
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and referring URL
  • Cookie, pixel, and advertising identifiers (see “Cookies, pixels, and ads”)
  • Approximate timestamps of visits and form submissions

Information from service providers we use to operate the business, such as:

  • Form, CRM, calendar, and SMS platform records (currently High Level)
  • Call, voicemail, and text-message logs
  • Booking confirmations and whether a Discovery call was scheduled
  • Advertising platforms (Google, Meta) for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention — not your form answers sold as a list

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or credit-card numbers on the FitQuest landing-page form. If a later financing or installation step requires additional information, that happens through the relevant partner and their own notices.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. Our services are for adult homeowners and decision-makers.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Start your Solar FitQuest and understand whether solar, storage, or a hybrid energy plan may fit your home
  • Contact you by SMS, email, and phone about your request, education, quotes, and next steps
  • Send an instant text after you submit, including an optional calendar link for a 15-minute Solar FitQuest Discovery call (booking is optional; we still keep your request)
  • Remind you once if you have not booked, and answer questions you send us
  • Prepare estimates and compare options; coordinate surveys, design, permits, and installation if you choose to move forward
  • Share what is needed with installation, equipment, or financing partners so they can evaluate or fulfill a project
  • Improve our pages, measure advertising, prevent spam and fraud, and keep records we need for legal, tax, warranty, and consent purposes
  • Honor opt-outs, access requests, and other rights described below

We do not sell your contact information to random third-party lead buyers or data brokers.

Educational bill examples and energy-plan illustrations on our sites are not quotes and not savings guarantees. Actual costs, rates, incentives, and results vary by home, utility, and program.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS consent box on our form (or otherwise give us written consent), you agree that Solar Rose Energy may send text messages to the mobile number you provide. Messages may be sent using an automated system. They may include:

  • Confirmation that we received your FitQuest request
  • A link to book a 15-minute Solar FitQuest Discovery call
  • Appointment reminders and replies to questions you send
  • Follow-up about your home, options, and next steps

Frequency: Message frequency varies. After you submit, you can typically expect an immediate confirmation text, optional booking reminders, and additional messages only as we work your request (often a few messages around a Discovery conversation; more if a project is active). We are not a high-volume marketing blast list.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Solar Rose Energy does not charge a separate fee for SMS; your carrier might.

Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may also text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After you opt out, we will send a one-time confirmation and then stop marketing/follow-up texts to that number. You can still email or call us.
Help: Reply HELP or contact us at 719-208-1327 or [email protected].

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. You can explore education on solarroseenergy.com without submitting the form. If you submit the FitQuest form, we require SMS consent because that funnel is built to follow up by text from our High Level phone number. You may revoke SMS consent at any time as described above.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We keep records of your consent (form language, timestamp, and related technical data) so we can show how you opted in.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run Solar Rose Energy:

  • Installation partners — licensed, insured crews we match to a project (site survey, design, install, inspection). Partners vary by home and market.
  • Equipment, monitoring, and energy-product providers — when a system design uses their products.
  • Financing or payment providers — only if you explore a financed, prepaid, or similar path and that review is needed.
  • Service providers who process data for us — website/CRM/SMS/calendar (High Level), email, phone, hosting, analytics, and advertising vendors (Google, Meta). They are instructed to use your information to provide services to us, not to buy it as a consumer list.
  • Professional advisors and authorities — lawyers, insurers, accountants, or government/utility bodies when required by law, permits, interconnection, dispute, or safety.
  • Business transfer — if Solar Rose Energy is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that business, still subject to this policy or a successor notice.

We do not share your information with unaffiliated companies for their own independent marketing unless you give additional consent for that.

If an installation or financing partner has its own privacy notice, that notice also applies to data they receive.

Cookies, pixels, and ads

We (and our vendors) use cookies, pixels, and similar tools on our sites and ads, including:

  • Essential cookies — page function, security, spam protection, form and session handling
  • Analytics — how pages are used so we can improve them
  • Advertising and measurement — Google Ads tags / conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, so we can show relevant ads, measure whether a campaign led to a FitQuest request, and limit repeat ads

These tools may collect device identifiers, pages viewed, and actions such as form submit. Google and Meta may combine that with information they already have under their own policies:

Your choices

We do not currently operate the site as a “sale” of personal information to data brokers. We do use advertising cookies/pixels for targeted advertising and campaign measurement. If you want us to stop using your information for that purpose to the extent we control it, email [email protected] with the subject line “Ads opt-out.”

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including:

  • Active FitQuest, quote, and project files for as long as we are working with you, plus a reasonable period afterward for warranty questions, utility paperwork, and service
  • SMS/email/call consent and opt-out records for as long as needed to demonstrate consent and honor STOP requests (often several years)
  • Advertising and analytics data according to the vendor’s retention settings
  • Records we must keep for tax, legal, insurance, or dispute reasons

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, unless the law requires a longer hold.

Your choices and rights (Colorado and U.S.)

You can:

  • Stop SMS: reply STOP
  • Stop marketing email: use the unsubscribe link, or email us
  • Ask us not to call about marketing; we will still be able to contact you about an active project if needed
  • Update or correct your name, email, phone, or address
  • Ask for a copy of the information we have about you
  • Ask us to delete information we do not need to keep
  • Limit advertising cookies using the tools in “Cookies, pixels, and ads”

Depending on where you live, state law (including the Colorado Privacy Act, if and when it applies to us) may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or a “sale” of personal data. We will reasonably honor these requests even if a particular state statute does not currently apply to our business size.

To make a request, email [email protected] or call 719-208-1327. We may need to verify it is you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share FitQuest leads with unaffiliated marketers for their own campaigns.

If we cannot verify a request, or the law lets us keep certain records (for example, consent, project, or legal files), we will explain.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a small U.S. dealership (secure HTTPS pages, access-limited CRM, vendor processors). No website or text-message channel is 100% secure. Please do not send Social Security numbers or payment-card numbers through the FitQuest form or SMS.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We treat a clearly received opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising to the extent we can control our own tags and vendors. Because advertising platforms also operate independently, use the Google/Meta tools above for a complete opt-out.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and the new version will be posted on this page. If we make a material change to how we use phone numbers or SMS, we will provide additional notice as required (for example, a site notice or a new consent prompt).
